I had learned about this amazing–because utterly varied–artist through the Edge of Desire exhibition at the Queens Museum.

  1. Cow dung for painting. Why not? It has been used in villages to plaster walls. Cow dung mixed in water is sprinkled on the floor to prepare the background for a decorative flour design.

    In Chennai, cow dung-water mix is plastered over movie posters to keep cows from grazing on the cinema posters!
