Baywatch

In transit, in London. In a copy of a recent Newsweek (Dec 28, 2005/Jan 2, 2006), I come across the following quote which provides proof, if such proof were at all needed, that any association with Bollywood allows even strangers and newcomers to attain a proper perspective on art and on reality:

“I’m proud of shows like ‘Baywatch’ and ‘Knight Rider’ because it’s about saving lives, not taking lives. It’s entertainment, it’s tongue in cheek, it brings the world together. I think it’s responsible for a lot of world peace.” — David Hasselhoff, on his artistic legacy, while accepting the Bollywood movie award for international star of the year.
